1. Skidrow – Nightmare Summer Poster:
In the Skidrow map, inside the barber shop, players will discover a fascinating Easter egg. The room is filled with peculiar items like a robot toy and cat photos, but the real highlight is the old Activision arcade machine, which features a game called “Space Cade.” What’s more intriguing is the poster on the wall for a movie called “Nightmare Summer,” directed by Willard Wyler. This is a nod to fans of the Infinite Warfare Zombies, as Willard Wyler was one of the main antagonists in the game mode. He is responsible for directing the Zombies maps as movies. This Easter egg connects the events in the game to the IW Zombies storyline.

2. Favela – Nightmare Summer Poster:
The “Nightmare Summer” poster, also appears on the rooftop of a building in the Favela map. It’s another subtle reference to IW Zombies.

3. Highrise – Teddy Bears:
Highrise brings back an iconic Easter egg from the original Modern Warfare 2. By executing a parkour jump, players can access the rooftop. Here, players will find a ton of teddy bears. What’s new in the Beta is that when players melee these teddy bears, their heads get cleanly decapitated. This animation was specifically made to add a humorous touch to the classic Easter egg.

4. Highrise – Arcade Machines:
In the ActiBase office on the Highrise map, players will come across several arcade machines. These include the ActiBase Arcade Classics machine, the Space Cade machine from Skidrow, a Max 6 arcade machine with a steering wheel, and the War Beast game. These machines are all based on movies within the Modern Warfare universe. Besides the Arcade machine, in the office reception, there is a fictional gaming console named Actibase. This console was previously seen in Modern Warfare 2019’s London Piccadilly mission.

5. Highrise – Movie Posters:
The ActiBase office in Highrise also features various funny movie posters. One of them is “Dolphin Dive of the Deep World,” a playful reference to the dolphin diving mechanic in Call of Duty. There’s also a poster for War Beast, Medieval Warfare, Gobo, and Seeing Red. The most intriguing one is “Knock Knock,” directed by “Hu Stair,” alongside “In the Clouds.” The “Spawn Closet” became one of the most notable posters as subtly references Nikita Dragovich. Nikita is the main antagonist of the original Black Ops game, responsible for the Numbers Program and Project Nova. This indicates a connection between different storylines in the Call of Duty universe.

6. Orlov Military Base – Map Remakes:
Orlov Military Base is a Ground War map that contains remakes of classic Call of Duty maps. On the loading screen, it’s identified as a remake of COD 4’s Countdown. Additionally, if players spawn on one side of the map, they will recognize that it’s a hidden remake of “Subbase” from Modern Warfare 2, providing a sense of nostalgia for long-time players.

7. Orlov Military Base – Russian Text:
On the West platform of Orlov Military Base, there’s a building with Russian text on the rooftop. When translated, it reads “Verdnaksy”. While the significance of this text with respect to the level of Verdansk isn’t entirely clear, it’s an intriguing detail that piques curiosity.

8. Estate – Makarov’s Hideout:
In the Estate lodge’s main room, players will find detailed images and plans on the wall. Although these images resemble CCTV shots from the Piccadilly attack in Modern Warfare 2019, they were originally used as decorations in older maps. However, the presence of these images in Makarov’s hideout suggests a deeper connection to the storyline, hinting that he has been orchestrating events behind the scenes.

9. Estate – Mannequin:
Upstairs in the Estate lodge, in the bathroom’s bathtub, there used to be a blow-up doll in the original Modern Warfare 2. In the Beta, it’s been replaced by a mannequin with no legs, wearing a military vest and helmet, which is a more suitable and less controversial addition.

10. Skidrow – Police Intercom:
In an apartment on the Skidrow map, there’s a desk with a police intercom playing repeated, cryptic audio that’s challenging to decipher. This Easter egg contributes to the eerie ambiance of the location, adding a layer of intrigue for players.
