The next major update will soon be added to the game in the future. Epic Games has now shared another teaser for the next season, which also showcased a new shotgun.

Epic Games to add a new shotgun in Season 7 of Fortnite

The studio has already rolled out a teaser trailer for the next season. Information recovered from the community suggests the orange spire region will cease to exist. This area will see new points of interest that follow Season 7’s futuristic theme. Now more teasers on the title’s official social media handle point at the inclusion of a new shotgun.

As it can be seen in the above tweet, the studio has revealed a new shotgun. So far, no weapon exists within the game that can remotely reassemble this gun. Safe to say, Fortnite is adding a new shotgun in the mix, which will definitely impact the meta. Shotguns play a pivotal role in this game, and this new weapon could become the meta or turn out as game-breaking.

Twitter reacts to Fortnite revealing a new shotgun

Obviously, fans were going to pick up this tweet, as the teaser gave rise to more speculations. New weapons certainly impact the game, as in the case of Season 6, primal shotguns turned out as the meta-defining weapon. Something of this sort could happen with the addition of this teased weaponry.

This shotgun seems like a cannon and less like a shotgun, and this fan can’t believe Epic Games will add this weapon with Season 7.

The studio also revealed rather unique glasses, which look awfully similar to DC Comics’ iconic character Superman.

Every Fortnite player will be trying to join the dots in order to figure out where is the storyline headed. However, the way things have taken turns in previous seasons, it doesn’t seem like players will unravel this mystery just yet.

Naturally, if Season 7 is going to roll out, then alien skins and other domestic items will also roll out. One fan poked fun at the studio, as they might be working on such skins at the moment.
