Darren Watkins Jr., popularly known as IShowSpeed, is a young YouTube streamer. He is famous for his hot-headed and energetic personality. He is among the fastest-growing streamers and gets hundreds and thousands of views on his videos.
But aside from live streaming, he has also ventured into music. So far, he has released many songs, but his limited discography is getting him a lot of attention from fans.
IShowSpeed defeats KSI on Spotify
The YouTube streamer released a new song called “World Cup” because of the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The new song from IShowSpeed received over 44 million views on YouTube and 21 million streams on Spotify. Speed’s World Cup song has more views than the official FIFA World Cup song.
But IShowSpeed’s YouTube rival KSI has been making music for a long time. The Englishman made his music debut in 2015 with the song “Lamborghini”. Since then, he has released many hit songs that have received millions of views. Further, KSI has been on many musical tours too.
Looking at the musical feats, many might think that KSI has the upper hand in this field. But that’s not the case because KSI only has over 4 million monthly listeners, while IShowSpeed has over 6 million monthly listeners on Spotify. The young streamer possibly got this boost thanks to the success of his “World Cup” song.
