Friday the 13th: The Game was initially released on 26 May 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox 1, and Windows. It had its issues that did not sit well with the critics. Fans supported the game with a belief of the game getting better with time. Unfortunately, even with Illfonic making attempts like collaborating with original cast members of the movie or experimenting with additions in the multiplayer game, it missed the mark.
Illfonic: A Missed Opportunity With an Unfortunate End?
The disheartened fans of the horror slasher title blame the developers’ inability to cater to its audience. The constant delays with further upgrades, the bugs that weren’t fixed, and the promises that weren’t fulfilled in time. All these reasons might be asserted for the fall of the title. Friday the 13th: The Game was certainly a potential banger that could not keep up with its expectations.
Even though the game had plenty of bugs and issues, the game will be remembered as an iconic memory for the 80’s lovers. Reacting to the tweet, here are some interesting fan reactions.
