There are many ways to play a certain game on a certain device, but they need a lot of tweaks and tricks to set them up. But recently an emulator is getting some attention when fans came to know that it can run retro games from old consoles in their Xbox X|S with ease.
What is RetroArch and how does it work?
RetroArch is a cross-platform frontend for emulators, game engines, video games, media players, and other programs that are free and open source. The way it works is actually that Microsoft Hyper-V and Windows NT-based Xbox OS make an environment for the emulator.
This environment is then used by the emulator to set up another frontend based on the console that it is supposed to emulate. After the frontend is set up, games based on that particular frontend run as they were tricked by the emulator to think they are running on the same console as they are intended to run on.

How to install Retroarch on Xbox?
According to the video, users need to download the emulator from gamr13.github.io using the Microsoft Edge browser. After which they need to install the Gamr13.AppStore, and from there Retroarch can be downloaded and installed.
After installation, the emulator needs to be updated in order to make it compatible with the console and PC. The user needs to do some additional settings regarding the controller and the frame rate. This makes it much easier for the user to play the games on the Xbox consoles without any further issues.
