In the latest news of the wild world of Twitter, eccentric billionaire Elon Musk has once again stormed the internet with his new shenanigan. On April 4, Musk decided to do a ‘little trolling’ by changing the iconic blue Twitter logo with a picture of a Doge meme. ‘Doge’ is the famous meme of a Shiba Inu smirking in a funny way.

And just like any other ‘funny’ skit by Elon, this also started a train of internet trends, where others tried to copy it and spread the ‘fun’. At first, online influencers and internet ‘meme lords’ hopped on the wagon, but eventually, others also made their way into the Doge Twitter icon meme, including some of the most well-known eSports Teams.

The biggest names in the eSports circles joined the Twitter Logo Trend. They edited a screenshot of their Twitter pages by replacing the icon with the faces of their logo or prominent members. These eSports teams included Cloud9, Evil Geniuses, TSM, and more! Check these changes below.

Los Angeles-based esports and gaming organization The Guard changed the icon with their beloved member, GUARD Trent. They cut out his face and placed it on the Twitter logo. Trent replied in the comments saying, “That’s my dawg” and thanked Elon Musk and, for some reason, the president of the United States, Joe Biden.

Cloud9 also did something similar. They pasted the face of their ‘GOAT’ Cloud9 Mang0. According to them, this edit was a ‘chef’s kiss’. Following the trend of posting their star members on the Twitter logo, TSM edited a ‘questionable’ picture of ImperialHal that made the fans roll with laughter.

The Evil Geniuses edited their logo on the Twitter logo. They placed their mascot owl under the Doge. Making it look like the owl is replacing the Doge and taking its place as the new icon.
