Just recently, Elon Musk once again found himself to be at the receiving end of severe criticism on Twitter after making a bizarre and shocking comparison of himself to a very iconic DC superhero. This fictional character is none other than The Dark Knight himself – Batman.

Twitter users tell Elon Musk that he is no Batman at all!

The new CEO of the social media platform had recently tweeted out an image of the popular DC superhero character Batman, standing on top of a church in the city of Gotham.

The image used by him is actually made by an artist whose name is Berkan Ozkan. The latter had uploaded it on the Behance website under the title ‘A Knight In The Frost’.

Coming back to the tweet, Elon Musk posted, he wrote a caption for the image which was: “Some nights…”.

The 51-year-old South African-born American billionaire basically tried to show that his current situation is similar to Batman’s while comparing himself to the comic book character. This was to show that just like the caped crusader, he also watches over the people on Twitter to make sure they are not breaking any rules.

Given that both these men are billionaires and share several common themes, Elon Musk thought he was right in calling himself a Batman-like figure for Twitter who tries to make it good but the situation tends to get worse like the growing crimes in Gotham City. However, people on the social media platform didn’t think so at all. In fact, their reactions were completely opposite to that of the Tesla co-founder.

In other words, this tweet from Elon Musk backfired on him, which is nothing new to witness especially this year.

“Elon..You are not Batman and Twitter is not Gotham city. Please, Please just stop.” wrote one frustrated user.
