Electronic Arts is an American video game company and one of the most successful ones. The American giant has provided many superhit video game titles like Need for Speed, FIFA, Star Wars, and many more. Now, a Marvel superheroes-based series would join the list of games by EA.

Electronic Arts joined hands with Marvel

Electronic Arts have revealed that they joined hands with Marvel on a multi-year contract. Together they would work on developing three video games based on Marvel superheroes. Moreover, the three video games are a minimum limit the companies have put on the deal. Possibly, the first game’s success would determine how many games EA and Marvel will actually make.

The American giants have also revealed that all three upcoming Marvel games would be action adventures for consoles and PC. Further, they also announced the plans for the first game. According to reports, the first that came to come out from this collaboration would be a single-player action-adventure game based on the fan-favorite superhero, Iron Man.

The Electronic Arts COO Laura Miele welcomed Marvel to their family. Then she said, We have been long-time fans of Marvel and their impressive leadership, so this is a remarkable moment for our developers as well as our players and fans.”

Even the other party is looking forward to this new deal. The Executive Vice President at Marvel Games Jay Ong said, “At Marvel, we strive to find best-in-class teams who can take our characters on heroic journeys in ways they haven’t before, and collaborating with Electronic Arts will help us achieve that.”

How did fans react to this big collaboration?

The Marvel fans aren’t much excited about the collaboration with Electronic Arts. The American giants didn’t manage to come up with exciting titles, and they mostly recycled the same game idea with better graphics. So, fans are skeptical if EA would be able to deliver a good Marvel superhero game. Let’s look at some of those fan reactions.
