Electronic Arts announced Star Wars Jedi: Survivor last year, and fans were very excited. Then they got their first look at this game during the Game Awards 2022, along with the launch date. EA also announced the launch date, which was set for March 2023.
Jedi: Survivor, which is actually built on Unreal Engine, also looks pretty good and continues the story of its predecessor Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. But it appears that the fans excited about this game are in for a piece of very disappointing news!

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is one of the most anticipated games of 2023. The game is set to continue Cal’s story from the first part and would be giving him a bunch of new abilities to defeat his enemies with.
There would be mounts to ride and companions to banter with. Moreover, the game would feature a bunch of semi-open world areas similar to that of the God of War: Ragnarok to its fans. The most exciting thing about this upcoming game is that the developers have introduced stances in its combat. Some are even calling it the “Space Elden Ring”!
Players would be able to use different kinds of stances to defeat different kinds of enemies. And one of those stances would allow them to use a blaster too.
And yes, all this is as exciting as it sounds, but it appears the developers have intentions to make their fans wait longer than expected. In a recent Tweet, EA and Respawn revealed that the game would be delayed for around a month.
They mentioned they would be needing this time to polish the game and make sure it is as perfect as its predecessor to play!

The message specifically said, “In order for the team to hit the Respawn quality bar, provide the team the time they need, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we have added six crucial weeks to our release schedule- Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will now launch globally on April 28th.”
A late game is better than a broken game!
Some say a game being delayed is a disappointing thing, but they do not remember the fact that this game, if released in a broken state, would be even more disappointing. Games like Battlefield 2042, and Cyberpunk 2077 have proven time and time again that the games that release unoptimized or broken in some manner are always looked down upon.
