FromSoftware’s Elden Ring is close to its much-anticipated launch later this week. Ahead of the long-awaited debut of the fantasy RPG, the team behind the project recently shared an extremely important and crucial message to all the impatient fans.

Considering the unmatched hype for Elden Ring, Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware posted a tweet. They requested the fans to stay away from spoilers. However, this message was almost misunderstood by some curious players. Especially those who have been screaming out loud so far for the open-world game for the last few months.

Elden Ring fans almost had a heart attack!

The most anticipated game of 2022 has been the subject of various discussions ever since its initial reveal took place. And after the first trailer went out, all the gaming fanatics were on cloud nine. They have been longing for Elden Ring with all their patience, and it’s almost here now.

But a recent tweet from the makers made them panic with varying emotions. It happened when the official Elden Ring Twitter page shared this message:

As you can see, very clearly, the team requested the players to stay away from any kind of spoiler content regarding the game ahead of its launch. Which is a very noble initiative to say the least.

However, several fans took it the other way round. Many of them, without reading the entire text, thought that Elden Ring was delayed just few days before the release.

In fact, some users were almost on the brink of losing their minds, seeing this image containing the message. But as is the case on social media these days, some people just assumed it to be to an announcement of a delay for Elden Ring.

“Scared the s*** out of me for a second,” wrote one user.

Elden Ring is launching on February 25, 2o22 on multiple platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
