Hidetaka Miyazaki answered players’ quarries about the upcoming Elden Ring
After Miyazaki’s huge collaboration with famous novelist George R. R. Martin, several fans are excited about his next project. Not to mention, some are also wondering if he is planning to collaborate with someone else after George R. R. Martin.
Addressing this side of things in his interview with PlayStation, he said: “I don’t think I would choose a fellow game creator. Honestly, one of the major appeals of working with George R. R. Martin was how the medium he works in is such a different style. Games and books are vastly different forms of media, after all. So if I were to choose, it would be someone who can provide that same level of stimulation that’s impossible for us to achieve as game developers.”
Not many fans know that Miyazaki doesn’t like to play his own creations. According to one of the CBR, this is what he had to say.
“It brings up a lot of old emotions, a lot of old memories, and this gets a little bit overwhelming, and it doesn’t feel like playing anymore. So I have not played the Demon’s remake, but I am very glad to see it get this fresh look, these brand-new current-gen graphics.”
