From the gameplay footage that has been shown, it has been speculated that in order to land somewhere, players can get off their pilot seat and move over to the navigation system. There, they can spot or mark a point and choose to land on the spot.

However, that may not be the only way to get around places. In a recent Reddit post one fan claims to have noticed another detail from a screenshot that could ease players’ navigational movements while exploring its vast universe.

Navigation from the cockpit?

As per the Redditor Ven Kitsune, from the gameplay trailer it can be observed that as you get closer to a system, its important points get highlighted. This can be seen from the cockpit while sitting on your pilot’s chair. If that’s true it means that players can choose landing spots without having to walk down to the navigation systems all the time when they want to go somewhere across the galaxy. This feature would also drastically lessen travel time.
