Battlefield 2042 has had a rough launch, riddled with bugs and game-breaking features. However, new content drops will be added in the form of seasonal updates. DICE and EA have remained mum as of now regarding when Battlefield 2042 will see its first season.

On the other hand, data leaks by credible leakers have offered some promising details. It looks like Season One’s release date for the franchise’s latest iteration has been leaked. It is likely this season is one of the only opportunities DICE will have to fix the game and retain the players it is losing to a massive extent.

temporyal is a dataminer closely associated with the video game industry. He has time and again taken to revealing exclusive and exciting information that has been corroborated in the future. Safe to say, his claims are not something to be taken lightly.

He recently took to Twitter to inform the community about the release date for Season One of Battlefield 2042, and he also offered some lore.

It seems like Season One is geared to release all the way in March 2022. This leak falls in line with the fact that DICE will not provide significant support for the title until March 2022. A move criticized by longtime fans of the community.

Adding on, the leaker said, “The #Battlefield2042 client includes weekly missions for 12 preseason weeks.” Furthermore, it seems like the map that will be added in the season was previously leaked. However, it will be appearing with a new name going by “Exposure” instead of the previously reported “Ridge.”

It seems like there are other sources backing up these claims as well.
