Call of Duty franchise is going to witness another brand new FPS installment in 2023. Following the underwhelming performance of its predecessor, Activision’s team looks to make a strong comeback. And seems like the upcoming game will deliver on a lot of fronts. Especially when it comes to offering an enjoyable experience with its Multiplayer as well as Zombies-based content.
It is already known that Modern Warfare III will bring back various movement mechanics back in the MP modes; that’s a welcome step. Moreover, the title will also introduce the undead into the universe of a rebooted Modern Warfare sub-series. Hence, most of the fans are extremely excited to play the game as soon as possible. Fortunately, they will be able to do so with next month’s Open Beta phase. Interestingly, though, some may not even have to wait that long.

Speaking of the Beta content, devs have provided very little details so far on what one can expect from the limited build. However, trusted insiders have predicted that the Open Beta will feature tons of Multiplayer modes with few of the remastered maps from 2009‘s Modern Warfare 2. Sledgehammer’s team has made them again from the scratch.
Furthermore, there have been reports of a Zombies mode appearing in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III’s Beta version. Which means that players won’t be limited to just the regular Multiplayer content. They may also end up getting a taste of how the Modern Warfare Zombies will play out upon an official reveal.
Now speaking of the Open Beta itself, players who have pre-ordered MWIII already will be able to access it in October. In fact, they will have early access to the game’s Beta. Right now, anyone who wants to try out the Beta in advance can unlock this chance by pre-purchasing any edition of the game.
What to expect from Modern Warfare III’s story?
Activision’s upcoming title will continue after the events of last year’s Modern Warfare II. This time, the members of Task Force 141 are going to face their toughest enemy yet. The iconic antagonist Vladimir Makarov is set to return, after more than a decade. He was last seen in 2011’s original MW3. But with this year’s game, he will appear in a rebooted franchise.

It’s currently not known what Makarov’s true motives are, but he will definitely try to destroy the world. Hence, Captain Price and his team will need to use all their resources and strength to stop him. In terms of returning characters, the Campaign is expected to bring back faces like Ghost, Soap, Kate Laswell, Valeria, Alejandro, Gaz, and Graves, among few others.
