The latest edition of EA’s golf simulation game, PGA Tour, isn’t far away. EA announced several enhancements and additions to the EA Sports PGA Tour. Best of all, the news includes the return of the FedEx Cup along with the Playoffs. It is said to return to the game in grand fashion and some ultra-realistic additions such as all three FedEx Cup Playoff events and host courses, implementation of Playoffs into career mode, and select challenges.
The game is expected to replicate authentic real-life experience in-game via real-life golf data integrated into the game’s development via the Shotlink technology.
Coveted Cup Championships comes to PGA TOUR

PGA Tour will include three events that will comprise the FedEXCup Playoffs in 2022. The events are St. Jude Championship, the BMW Championship, and the Tour Championship. The sites for these events are Southwind, Wilmington Country Club, and East Lake Golf Club, respectively.
In the career mode of EA Sports PGA Tour, golfers may collect FedExCup points to advance to the playoffs and compete for the championship. EA also announced that the lower-level Korn Ferry Tour would be in the EA Sports PGA Tour, with golfers taking part in this developmental tour first before moving on to the Tour.

EA Sports PGA Tour will be the first golf simulation game to use ShotLink data in its game development. This will allow players to experience authentic golfing experience tandem with real-life happenings.
Tiger Woods is a consultant on 2K’s game, but EA’s game will be the only one to have all four Major tournaments, including the Masters, PGA Championship, US Open, and The Open. The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), including the Amundi Evian Championship, will be on the EA Sports PGA Tour. Both male and female Tour players will be playable characters. However, a complete list of athletes is yet to be revealed. The game also has a player creation tool.
EA Sports PGA Tour might release in the Spring of 2022 and has several golf enthusiasts already excited for its launch.
