While EA is looking for a new name for its virtual football game after letting go of the FIFA name, the publisher has recently come out with statistics regarding FIFA 22. The game will be the last launched with the FIFA name.

The newly released data by EA goes on to show the game’s popularity and demand among fans and players. FIFA 22 is still a new game, and the game got a massive response, and players are loving the latest and probably the last FIFA game.

FIFA 22 is enjoying great stats despite EA ditching the FIFA name

In just 22 days of its release, FIFA 22 has been played for a total of 46 trillion minutes overall, while players have scored 5 billion goals and engaged in 2.1 billion matches in total. These are some pretty great and positive numbers both for EA and FIFA 22. And that’s not all. The game is enjoyed and played in more than 200 nations worldwide and somewhere around 89 million matches are played each day.

EA has revealed all these stats and FIFA chief David Jackson declared“The growth of our global football platforms continues at a staggering pace, and our fantastic community is engaging at an unparalleled level. We’re excited to continue that momentum by providing the most immersive football gaming experiences available to fans all over the world,” as reported by Gamespot.

There are even more numbers. Players have built 3.1 million new custom clubs in FIFA 22’s career mode and 2.1 million people have spent time in this mode. EA even added that players have played 57.7 million matches in Pro Clubs mode, and more than 326,000 female avatars have been created. In Volta, more than 1.5 million avatars have been customized and participated in over 21 million matches.

These are just the game stats that the publisher has shared. We still don’t know the real sales data and how many FIFA 22 copies have been sold. With that said, it will be exciting to see what EA has planned for the future of FIFA 22 and the franchise in general.
