E3 is returning in 2021 and is planning to leave its mark on the gaming world. While we will not have a physical exhibition due to Covid-19 restrictions, the organizers have put together a four-day-long event. The broadcast will feature some of the biggest games from highly-rated producers.
Many fans are looking forward to the games that will be showcased at the event. However, the Entertainment Software Association has announced that the event will conclude with an awards show. Here, the awards will be given to games showcased throughout the duration of the event.
Editors from reputed gaming reporters including IGN, GameSpot, PC Gamer, and GamesRadar+ will select the winners. Apparently, the awards will be given out based on which the ‘most anticipated games are.

Stanley Pierre-Louis, President & CEO of the ESA gave us a preview of the show. He explains, “For this year’s event, we are collaborating with editors at some of the world’s leading video game media outlets to create the Official E3 2021 Awards Show, recognizing the show’s most anticipated games. The broadcast is going to be packed with exciting announcements and reveals, and celebrating innovative publishers and developers is an ideal way to close E3 2021. ”

E3 and the ensuing summer of gaming
E3 has always been the melting pot for some of the biggest gaming releases of the year. This tradition will only continue in 2021. It will feature broadcasts from developers like Nintendo, Xbox, and Bethesda. On the other hand, Sony has opted out of the event. However, the creator of the PS5 will most likely showcase what it has been working on during its own State of Play conference.

In addition to the latest gaming news, fans can also catch a live performance by the American rock band Weezer. Following E3, the month of June has many more gaming events to offer. These include events such as the Steam Next Fest, Sonic Symphony Orchestra, and EA Play Live.
