Prominent game development studio, Ubisoft hosted its E3 reveal on the first day of the mega event. The show Ubisoft Forward shed light on several new projects that the french studio was working on. This has revealed a piece of amazing news for Rainbow Six Siege fans, as the studio revealed a brand new standalone game and a new operator.

Gamers will get to see loads of new content being churned out, which will progressively help strengthen the title.

Ubisoft Forward revealed a new cross-play. feature, and a brand new operator

The studio has dropped a massive content bomb on the community, as the Rainbow Six franchise continues to evolve with each season. This time around the studio has added a brand new cross-play feature, which will allow PC players, to seamlessly connect with the cloud gaming and every other prominent platform. Previously, the studio had shared an elaborate teaser about the same, and now in the E3, it has been confirmed.

This will allow players from every major gaming platform to connect and enjoy a fun-filled experience of competitive siege. Moreover, the show also revealed a new teaser trailer for an upcoming operator who could join the game soon.

The new female operator goes by the codename. Thunderbird and she hail from the snowy mountainous region. The trailer also revealed that this new operator excels as a pilot, and she has learned how to survive in the harsh environment of snow-clad mountains. She has a keen sense of her surroundings and even understands the wildlife.

This mastery allows her to maintain her calm in tough situations, which will definitely make her a lethal killing machine. In the trailer, she was seen taking on an adult grizzly bear all alone.

This sets the stage for Rainbow Six Siege to once again gain a prominent position in the FPS genre, as the studio prepares to roll out more content. Safe to say, the studio will soon reveal more information about the new character, and how crossplay will work in the near future.
