The highly anticipated movie adaptation of the beloved Nintendo franchise, Super Mario Bros, has blessed the fans with yet another clip. The official Twitter handle of the movie revealed a short teaser that featured a beloved power-up from the game and the first look at Seth Rogen’s portrayal of the classic character of Donkey Kong. 

Ever since the announcement, this adaptation has received very mixed reviews from the community. Most of the criticism was based on the casting choices, especially the voice cast of the main character, the iconic Italian plumber Mario. But after the revelation of the mentioned clip, the fanbase has expressed high praise for the performance of Seth Rogen as the classic Donkey Kong.

The first two trailers of the movie had established that this adaptation will be very true to the source, as it will feature the setting of the beloved mushroom kingdom with the familiar story formula where the evil king Bowser will be seen wreaking havoc while the misfit heroes, Mario and Luigi will help princess peach and Toad to save the day.

In the second trailer, it was revealed that the many familiar faces related to the franchise will also make their appearance, including the antagonist from the very first Mario game, Donkey Kong. In the trailer, DK could be seen fighting Mario 1v1 and having the easy upper hand.

But in the newly revealed clip, it is revealed that our hero will turn the tides of the fight by hitting one of the mystery boxes and gaining the Catsuit power-up. Everyone who is familiar with the Mario game may know how powerful the suit is, but in the clip, DK could be seen making fun of Mario for using the suit.

The clip also gave a tease at the amazing performance that Seth Rogen delivered as the character of Donkey Kong. While the community had mixed reactions about Chris Pratt as Mario, they now rest easy knowing that alongside Bowser, Donkey Kong will also be rocking a great performance on the big screen.
