Dr Disrespect Makes Stunning Mixer Claim Which Once Featured Ninja and Shroud

The untimely death of Mixer and its takeover by Facebook Gaming was a disappointing end for the platform. The Microsoft-backed live streaming platform held great promise for the community of becoming an alternate streaming website to end the domination of Amazon’s owned Twitch. Mixer had picked up Shroud and Ninja with an exclusive deal, with only Dr Disrespect not being a part of the massive jump.

Now, a popular eSports podcast host, Jake Lucky has made a bold claim about Doc suggesting Mixer could have survived if he made the jump. This move would have made Mixer a formidable nemesis for Twitch to battle, apart from the rising YouTube Gaming platform.

Jake stated that Doc talked about this live on his stream, but thus far hasn’t shared any video evidence to back up his claims. Fans will have to wait for the podcast host to make a return as he is currently on a vacation in LA. He has promised the community that he will offer the full story behind his recent claims.

Would Mixer have survived off the backs of Shroud, Ninja, and Dr Disrespect?

There is no doubt that the 39-year-old streamer is a massive name in the gaming ecosystem. The outspoken streamer has always said what he had on his mind and never let anything keep him from being himself. It is quite possible that the streamer may have made these claims, as the Mixer jump was certainly on the horizon for every major player.

Ninja and Shroud made the jump when their careers had peaked. This jump brought a legion of newer audiences to the brand new platform, but sadly, it wasn’t enough to keep things afloat. Doc’s presence may have made a difference, but in all honesty, the platform would probably have failed, anyway.
