Dr Disrespect and Twitch resolve their legal dispute
In a tweet on March 11, the two-time gave fans an update on the enigmatic Twitch saga. For the uninitiated, he was permanently banned from the platform in June 2020. Details behind the Amazon-owned company’s decision are scarce; however, Doc didn’t take it sitting down. Following his ban, he threatened Twitch with legal action before ultimately moving to YouTube.
Before his ban, Dr DisRespect was one of the most followed streamers on the platform and even signed an exclusivity contract. While he has slowly rebuilt his fanbase on YouTube, fans have wondered if Doc would ever return to Twitch. And the answer seems to be a big fat no. He states in his Twitter post that he and Twitch have resolved their legal dispute. However, “No party admits to any wrongdoing.”
