As the gaming industry grows every day, indie developers are making more and more names for themselves. And if Dr Disrespect is approving of a game, it means that the game surely has some potential to shine.
Dr Disrespect reacts to a realistic game
In his recent clip from a stream, Dr Disrespect was asked if he has seen the game in development by an indie game developer, Alexandre Spindler. To which he stated that he would give a look at it. And when he did, he instantly approved of the game.
Although still in development, the unnamed game is a bodycam type of First-Person Shooter, where players play as an unknown person, most likely a law enforcer. Not sure about the game’s storyline, but the engine used in Unreal Engine and thus the graphically enhanced visuals are one of the selling points of the game.
Apparently, Dr Disrespect regarding the game said, “that’s pretty cool man. I could totally see that. It looks good visually.” He then added, “This is cool man. That would be a sick style for an extraction type of shooter. It would make things super intense.” But one thing that he thought was a bit weird was the sound design for the game, as it sounded really harsh. But the matter of fact that real bodycam images sound static, is actually a selling point of the game.
Why is Doc so critical of video games?
Apart from being a veteran streamer himself, Dr Disrespect was also a level designer for games such as Call of Duty Advanced Warfare. This means that he has a pretty hefty amount of knowledge on how games are being made and what can be better for a certain game.

Apart from that, he also has a game development team of his own and is also making an indie game under his supervision. Therefore, it is clearly second nature to him to be critical of video games.
