Dr DisRespect Calls the New Adaptation on One of the Most Popular American Sports as “The Worst Sports Game” in the Video Gaming Space

Video game franchises based on sports remain among the most celebrated formats of gaming. Unarguably, Electronic Arts has been a pioneer of the format in the industry. With their latest release of America’s most popular sport, the developers have caught the attention of popular streamer, Dr DisRespect, but for all the wrong reasons. 

Dr DisRespect is a renowned face of the streaming community. After facing a ban from Twitch for allegedly violating the platform’s terms and service, the latter has established a huge fan base on YouTube. With the latest tweet, the streamer has taken a dig at the most recent EA-published title. While the title was under the spotlight for various issues addressed by the community, Dr DisRespect gave his one-line review of the game.

Dr DisRespect is disappointed with Madden NFL 24 

The popular NFL gaming franchise Madden has been a long-running sports adaptation in the market. The inception of the game goes back to the early 1980’s. Developers have ensured improvements and updates each year. However, considering the surfacing fan reviews about the 2023 release of the series, it seems like the makers have missed their mark. 

Madden NFL 24 marked its release on August 15 this year. The EA-published NFL adaptation did not have an ideal beginning run. Players have been unable to play Ultimate Team or any of the online modes during the new game’s early access phase, due to a deluge of server error messages.

Now, the popular streamer Dr DisRespect called out the game through his social media. In a one-line review, the latter criticized the NFL adaptation. “Madden 24 is probably the worst sports game in history,” he wrote.

The YouTuber has been a fan of sporting adaptations. Although his athletic experience is primarily in basketball, he also enjoys playing football, and his favorite team is the San Francisco 49ers. In addition to announcing a draft pick, he fired up the fans before his hometown team’s playoff game. Thus, he has always been a great admirer of the Madden franchise. Well, it seems like EA has left the YouTuber unimpressed.

During its short-running span in the market, the game has been subjected to a lot of criticism. Considering the plans EA has for their upcoming releases, they wouldn’t want to take any chances on their image. Hence, fans are expecting the patch improvements in Madden 24 NFL soon.
