Doughbriks Pizza Owner David Dobrik Reveals His Favorite Chef, One Who Is Not Impressed Easily

YouTube personalities expanding beyond their horizons and dipping their toes in different avenues and businesses, has been a trend for a while. While, YouTube’s top dog, MrBeast, is the first name that people have in mind when it comes to creator-made food brands, YouTube Veteran David Dobrik is also in no way lesser than him. 

When it comes to OG vloggers and prank video creators on YouTube, David is one of the top names. Although he made his name and brand by uploading content on YouTube, Dobrik’s Pizza Parlor Doughbriks has been posing serious competition at stealing his limelight. With an overnight success, the pizza parlor is gaining a lot of attention from fans and social media trends.

According to the LA Magazine, the opening day lines in front of the restaurant were too long that they reached the busy Sunset Boulevard. But who was the inspiration behind the influencer’s sudden turn to the food industry? The answer is a particular hot-headed chef who likes to make “dumb sandwiches” out of people. 

David Dobrik shares his appreciation for Chef Gordon Ramsay

In a recent interview with Tasting Table, David shared the story behind his plan to open a Brick and Mortar restaurant of his own. He talked about how, unlike other influencers, he didn’t just slap his name to a generic pizzeria, shared it on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, and called it a day. He gave all his heart and passion behind Doughbriks.  

Behind his efforts to make a viable restaurant business, he took a lot of inspiration from other big names in the industry, including Gordon Ramsay. “I’m going to sound so basic, but Gordon Ramsay,” said David talking about who his favorite chef is. The bold demeanor of Gordon gave Dobrik the bravery to step into the food industry.

“I just started recently watching that. I love going to Hell’s Kitchen when I’m in Vegas. I like him,” said David about Ramsay’s iconic show. In the end, David Dobrik may not go to restaurants and roast the owners, but Ramsay’s influence will stick with him as he will continue to thrive in the food industry with his beloved Doughbriks pizza.
