“Double Tanjiro” – Demon Slayer Fans Go Wild After Spotting Both Japanese and English VA Together on  Red Carpet

Anime fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the next season of Demon Slayer. It is one of the most celebrated anime and manga series in the world right now. The upcoming season is set to release sometime in April 2023. However, the screening of the upcoming Demon Slayer Season 3 has already begun.

The Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles recently hosted The Demon Slayer World Tour named To the Swordsmith Village, which premiered a long movie-like episode. It showed a few episodes of the Entertainment Arc and then the pilot episode of Season 3. Further, the voice actors of the anime series were also present at the event.

Tanjiro met Tanjiro at the Demon Slayer World Tour

Remember that iconic Spider-man meme, where the friendly neighborhood superhero came across his alternate universe self and they point at each other? Something similar happened at the Demon Slayer World Tour. However, it was not Spider-Men, but multiple Tanjiros. For those who don’t know, Tanjiro Kamado is the main character of Demon Slayer.

Not only the English voice actors of the anime attended the event in Los Angeles but also those who dubbed the show in Japanese. As a result, both stars who voice Tanjiro were there, Zach Aguilar who did Tanjiro’s English dub, and Natsuki Hanae, who did the Japanese one. Both the voice actors shared a picture in which they were together with the character they play.

Zach Aguilar was also the voice actor for David Martinez in Cyberpunk Edgerunner. Further, he also did voice acting in video games, like Genshin Impact’s main protagonist and Byleth (male) from Fire Emblem Heroes. Tanjiro’s voice actor also voice acted in games like League of Legends and Nier: Automata. Hanae also dubbed other famous anime characters like Ken Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul and Falco in Attack on Titan.
