ModernWarzone on Twitter, a popular streamer, recently posted a tweet. He wrote that “the classic mini map – AKA red dots appearing when firing an unsuppressed weapon – is returning in” in Modern Warfare III.

The content creator got to know about this information while replying to the promotional phone number revealed by Activision. Although it’s used for receiving intel on the upcoming MWIII reveal event Shadow Siege, some players are utilizing it to unearth more data. Seems like the trick has worked for them, with the confirmation of red dots. One can simply reply “red dot” to this number in order to receive a message that reads “confirmed” alongside a red color dot.

As of now, the latest game in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II doesn’t feature the mini-map with red dots. Due to the absence of this feature, it has received a lot of criticism from hardcore fans since its launch. But now, they can rejoice after knowing that their beloved Multiplayer option is officially making a return in 2023.
