343 Industries urges people to not share the ‘unintentional’ leak of campaign files that has spoilers in them. The campaign file was live this week for the preview build. The tech preview went live for a limited number of people but now the story spoilers are all over the internet. Joseph Staten (Head of Creative) shared this news from his official Twitter handle. He said that the campaign file in the tech preview build contains spoilers.
Leaks like this are painful for the dev team and can ruin the campaign experience for everyone. So please, keep you eyes peeled for spoilers and don't spread them if you see them.❤️ 2/2

Unfortunately, including these campaign files was a total mistake. These leaks are quite disappointing and painful for the whole team and can hamper the fun and excitement of the game.

Brian Jarrard also tweeted from his official handle to warn all the data miners. He also urges people to not share any of the leaks or post the content to their channel. ”You run a very real risk of getting a takedown notice, which could result in a strike on certain platforms. If you have already posted content, we recommend removing it from your channel proactively.” This suggests that Microsoft is ready with their lawyers to protect the audience from the spoilers.

Trying to avoid all the spoilers for the coming four months (Aug-Nov 2021) is extremely hard, especially when the internet is flooded with it. The reaction has been a mix of concern and disappointment. Some fans are extremely irritated with the whole spoiler situation while some fans are being very supportive.

The Twitter thread is mostly flooded with the fans’ positive reactions. One user expressed his support by saying that those people who post spoilers on the internet should be banned completely. These people should not be allowed as they can post it again. There is also some pushback against the takedown thread as well.
