Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV aka Dr Disrespect, is an American video-game streamer. Guy is known for his amazing skills in FPS games such as Fortnite, Overwatch, PUBG, and especially Call of Duty. His swag-filled persona and bold features have become somewhat of an icon among online content creators.
Doc used to be one of the biggest names on Twitch, but then his channel was banned from the platform. That is when he moved to the rival platform of YouTube, where he streams to this day. At the time of writing this, Guy has over four million subscribers on his YouTube channel and almost 500k consecutive viewers on his streams.
DrDisrespect is known for his FPS gameplays. Games like Call of Duty is deeply rooted with his identity on the internet. So it wasn’t surprising that, when Doc announced his most anticipated project yet, is an FPS game. The name of his game is Deadrop, and he is very protective about it.
Dr Disrespect warns his community not to compare Deadrop with 100 Thieves’ game
Just like Doc, gaming and eSports company ‘100 Thieves’ are also diving into the world of FPS with their new game, currently named Project X. As both games are FPS and are in their extreme early stages, they are bound to have similarities that caught the eyes of the fans.
On November 15, 2022, a gaming news reporter, Jake Lucky, heard the fans and made a direct side-by-side comparison of Deadrop and Project X on Twitter. In his Tweet, he featured screenshots of both of the games while they were being played by content creators.

But the tweet soon caught the attention of Dr Disrespect. As the Doc replied to the tweet, with a subtle warning, not to compare his game with 100 thieves. He wrote, “Don’t compare us to them, please Jakey pooh. We’re on a whole other level over here. Trust me, in the end you’ll see.”
How did the fans react to the tweet?
Fans had a very mixed reaction to the situation. There were supporters on both sides. Some sided with Doc and said his game is better and others were 100 Thieves’ side. But in the end, most of them did what the internet does best, making fun of the whole drama.
5 years of development vs 5 months of development. Clearly one team knows what they're doing over the other

Project X looks like a csgo/valorant kind of style so it will be very different to our game with different playstyles at least from the looks of things.
