However, the latest update 2.0.5 may have added new bugs as the community makes a strange discovery.

One particular villager was spotted wandering in the woods uncharacteristically, but there was more to it. The villager actually spawned in the wrong location, as these characters often stay inside the city and barely ever linger away. Reddit user shared his discovery with the world and this just might be the first major bug within the new patch.

Weird villager spawn in Animal Crossing New Horizons puzzles community

Glitches and weird bugs are a part of the games, and they can show up at any moment. No developer or studio would want to see things like these in their games, but with the massive size of the games and myriad of features. It becomes quite difficult to take note of all aspects of the game, and this has been the case with many top-tier games. Animal Crossing has become a victim of its own grandiose scale and it continues to expand with each update.

In this case, NPC Celeste was spotted in the jungle being stuck to a particular cliff. Her movements have been reported to delete flowers from spawning. And if she wanders away, the game quickly slings her back to the starting position. This is indeed not a normal bug and suggests something is wrong with the latest patch.

New Horizon has been a breath of fresh air into the franchise, which desperately needed this addition. The upgraded visuals, new features, and breathtaking scenery have made the game incredibly fun for both veterans and newer players. The studio must focus on keeping the game loaded with fresh content. Updates like the 2.0 patch truly need to come out on an annual basis.
