It was definitely a hard final for the members of Team Vitality. The French Esports organization signed Twisten in 2022 mostly for playing the role of a duelist. It has only been a few days since Twisten passed away, and his absence in the finals game was a stark reminder of his loss.
Before beginning with the grand finale of the tournament, both teams decided to take a moment of silence in honor of the lost gem. The teams stood in unity to offer their thoughts and prayers to Twitch and his close ones. “It is always tough to lose someone of course but when it’s this close to us, from whichever quarter of Esports, it means much more. Mental Health should always be taken seriously. Once we have offered our condolences, we also give a second to ourselves to celebrate Twisten’s life”, were the words of the commentators.
