It has never been a secret that the gaming community does not like it when games come with a price tag that isn’t reflected in the quality of the game. And that seems to be what has happened with the PlayStation title Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. This version of the game was released last week and offers some improvements on next-gen consoles. Not only that, this version of the game also comes with a DLC. Unfortunately, gamers still feel like they are being ripped off and have taken to Metacritic to express their frustrations.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut: what’s the reason behind the outrage regarding the PlayStation title?

The primary reason is that the game does not bring anything extraordinary to the table to justify its price tag. There are few features that weren’t in the game before. And these features are in the game now to enhance the experience. But players still feel like they’re being overcharged. They claim that the DLC is not that good and that it’s a complete rip-off. They also seem to strongly believe that the upgrade the game got for the PS5 should have been free.

Whenever developers do something like this, the gaming community pulls back in reproach. Needless to say, people can take it that the gaming community doesn’t like deals that don’t seem very consumer-friendly. And regardless of how the Director’s Cut does going forward, the general consensus says charging extra for a console upgrade isn’t a very nice thing to do.
