The streaming community is one vast community in the present world. Chiefly, Twitch streamer Amouranth stands as a popular star in the community. While she flourishes as a streamer, she also has a history of being a profusely skilled costume designer.

Kaitlyn Michelle Siragusa, better known as Amouranth, is a well-established streamer. One can see her streaming under the genre of Just Chatting, ASMR, IRL, and hot-tub streams. Notably, the ASMR queen has over six million followers on Twitch. Above all, she was recognized with the Best ASMR Streamer Award during The Streamers Awards 2022. But here’s what her career looked like before she click the ‘Live’ button for streaming.

Now, Amouranth has been known to have a talent for painting excellent portraits of Pokemon on canvases. Moreover, she guided her fans while streaming herself painting them. She had also once released a rap music video by the name of “Down Bad.” So, let’s see what Amoraunth did before she started streaming and why did she leave it.

Amouranth once had been recommended by her professor to the Houston Grand Opera and Houston Ballet

Amouranth has undoubtedly become a renowned face in the streaming community. However, here’s an interesting fact about the days of her early costume design career. During the QTCindrella’s podcast “Cocktails with QT,” Amouranth cited the fact that she was invited to Houston Ballet and Houston Grand Opera.

In the podcast, Amouranth said, “I took fashion design/theatrical costume design at college in Houston. And my professor, since I’ve already been doing costumes before I went to college, he saw my level of work. He was he straight out told me like, ‘You really don’t need to be in classes.'” Amouranth further told that at that time she wanted to do movie costumes.

She further told what her professor said, “It’s like this kind of career. You don’t need actual schooling for you just need to know people and have a portfolio. And so he like recommended me like personal reference since he’s like super popular…He was a really cool professor, it was dope. And he recommended me to the staff at both the opera and the ballet and I was able to work there part-time in the costume shop and it was really interesting. And then I figured out I don’t want to do that.”

Amouranth exclaimed that in the field not much importance was given to the younger people and that experienced people were given much attention. Therefore, she decided to discontinue working professionally in that field. Nevertheless, her present position clearly suggests that it worked out for the best for her.
