Phil Spencer is the CEO of Microsoft’s Xbox platform. Under his leadership, Xbox underwent a huge transformation and started prioritizing the needs and desires of players. He shifted the company’s focus and led them to deliver compelling games, enhance player experiences, and foster a strong community.
Besides being a person who has the savvy to know how to maintain a platform. He is also known for playfully teasing things. Everyone remembers how he teased the Xbox Series S. Keeping up with his custom of doing similar things, he might be teasing a classic game during the recent Starfield and Xbox Games and Showcase.

id Tech is known as one of those developers who have yet to create a game that is not fun to play. Ever since the inception of the first-person genre with Wolfenstein, they have continued to gain momentum.
Even their games that do not receive excellent reviews are fun to play. One thing that id Tech knows best is the shooter genre. They started it, and even though most of the original team has left it, those who remain are well aware of how to make excellent titles.
This feat was proven by none other than Doom 2016. While id Tech worked on Doom, machine games made an exciting adventure based on Id’s very own Wolfenstein franchise. Machine games, too, showed a knack for developing exciting new games.

But a recent tease by none other than Phil Spencer suggests one of these two developers might be working on something altogether. While presenting the show, Phil Spencer was wearing a very interesting piece of clothing, his T-shirt with Hexen printed on it.
This can mean just about anything; it can mean Machine Games or id Tech are under immense pressure because one of them is working on Hexen. A game that is a first-person game but has mostly magic.

Hexen is also one of id Tech’s forgotten IPs, which is why not many realized that they were probably seeing a tease. Whatever that T-shirt might mean, the game is not any closer to launch as of now.
Saw that @XboxP3 did not explain his Hexen shirt during his @giantbomb appearance.
I did not get a chance to interview Phil, but I did ask Xbox game studios boss @mattbooty earlier if he knew why Phil was wearing a Hexen shirt.
Answer: "Uh…I may or may not." Then he laughed
