The next year will mark the sixth anniversary of the ongoing Switch device. Yes, it’s still selling well and setting new records for the Mario maker but it’s time for the Japanese giant to move forward. While the developer and publisher hasn’t come out with an official announcement yet, for the new hardware, there are several clues lying around that hardcore fans should notice.
For example, Shigeru Miyamoto, the celebrated game designer and director for Nintendo recently revealed some crucial information regarding a new Nintendo hardware. Although he didn’t mention it by name, he left an obvious hint for everyone to think about.

According to a translation by ResetEra, Shigeru Miyamoto mentioned several points while talking about the future plans of Nintendo going forward. Touching upon the topic of a possible new device, he said this: “Nintendo’s strength is in creating new games. With new hardware, we would like to propose unique games that cannot be realized on existing hardware.”
