DICE has just revealed the Holiday event for Battlefield 2042, while also bringing brand new game modes. The live-service title has added a fresh mode on the Battlefield Portal for the festive season. The latest mode is “Attack of the Elves”, which involves infecting the opponents in the matches. Basically, a group of Santas will try to prevent themselves from the horde of Elves.
In the new Battlefield 2042 mode, players who choose Team Santa will use a Christmas-skinned LCMG. On the other hand, the group of Elves will receive a Christmas lollipop melee weapon, along with a grappling hook. Of course, there will be more perks available for the players in the latest festive season update.

Battlefield 2042 Holiday Event update details
Highly awaited Battlefield 2042 was launched last month, following a massive building-up hype since the last year. There were tons of rumors and leaks floating around the project, thanks to some reputed industry insiders and they are timely reveals prior to the announcement. The game eventually witnessed an official teaser trailer in June, earlier this year. Interestingly, many fans weren’t happy after watching it but still, the overall response was positive.
Upon its launch, however, the game arrived with various issues as players complained about the gameplay. The title saw the hype going down all of a sudden, just under a month. It was also due to the fact that the AAA game received highly negative reviews from the majority of the users. At the moment, the developing team is trying to rectify major problems in the multiplayer.
