Diablo IV is arguably one of the biggest games of 2023. With a variety of new enemies to be slain and class builds to be made, the game takes more than 35 hours to complete. However, its long playtime did not stop it from gaining the success it deserved.

The game earned $666 million in revenue within the first five days after launch. And now it is steadily gearing towards the $1 billion mark. With the game receiving such great success, the Blizzard devs have started to kick back and enjoy it.

The recent tweet from President of Blizzard Entertainment Mike Ybarra revealed the current whereabouts of the Blizzard team. Ybarra said Blizzard sent a few lucky devs to the Taylor Swift Era Tour in Los Angeles. He further added that he will also be taking some time off to visit the Metallica concert alongside Chris Metzen, the President of Warchief Gaming, and some Blizzard members.

After these fun concert sessions, however, the team will return to deliver the best games possible to the fans. Furthermore, Ybarra added that Chris Metzen alongside Holly Longdale, the Executive Producer for World of Warcraft, will share some exciting news for WoW fans at BlizzCon 2023.

Ybarra said, “I can’t wait – I’m more excited about WoW’s future than ever before.” With Diablo IV setting a huge benchmark of success, fans are eager to see what Blizzard devs will bring forward with the new update of World of Warcraft. In the meanwhile, the devs will be enjoying concerts from the two prominent musicians.

Elon Musk adds to the success of  Diablo IV

One of the fans contributing to the success of Diablo IV is none other than the multi-billionaire Elon Musk. The Tesla CEO recently shared his love for the title while also telling the fans what his favorite build class is. The President of Blizzard Entertainment also thanked Musk for sharing his honest opinions on the topic.
