Diablo 4 is one of the most acclaimed action RPG games. That being said, it is not an easy task to beat the game. It comes with 4 different difficulty modes which are not for the faint of heart. Though the grind is real, even reaching the main boss, ‘Lilith’ is a difficult task, let alone defeating her. And yet, one player has done it. And with style.

While Lilith is the final boss of the game, there is a way she is made more difficult by the Uber mechanic. Uber’s are a higher difficult battle of a said boss. Although Uber Lilith is a difficult boss to kill, one visually impaired gamer takes the challenge to beat her.

Diablo 4’s final boss slayed by Blindguy

In a video uploaded by PlayDohBear, one blind gamer by the name of Blindguy took on this challenge while streaming. For Blindguy to take on Uber Lilith, he had to have unlocked the battle first. And that is no easy task in itself. 

In order to unlock the Uber Lilith fight in Diablo 4, players must reach World Tier 4 and look for the “Echo of Lilith” activity marker on the map. For players to unlock Echo of Lilith they need to complete the Capstone Dungeons “Cathedral of Light” for World Tier 3 and “Fallen Temple” for World Tier 4. After finishing the main story on World Tier 2, heroes can complete Capstone Dungeons at any level.

Just the setup to get to the Lilith battle sounds like a lot of work. And Blindguy became the first blind player to beat Uber Lilith. He did this with a Mendeln Summoner Necromancer and his impressive use of summoning spells and healing. The player had screen reading assistance along with a friend guiding him with the positioning.

Although the boss is difficult to beat, Blindguy beat Uber Lilith with an amazing strategy on his 7th attempt. It is also important to note that the player won with just one potion remaining, making it that close of a battle.

This victory sent waves in the gaming community, and many viewers celebrated it with him.

Many people who caught the video on Reddit, started commenting and congratulating Blindguy. One user also went ahead to commend PlayDohBear for his excellent job at coaching the battle.

Blizzard’s dedicated department actively works on improving accessibility features to make their games playable for all types of gamers. And BlindGuy took on a battle that many visually capable players couldn’t complete and emerged victorious.
