During a recent media interaction, some of the players from NFL team Detroit Lions revealed their passion for the Pokemon franchise. Plus, they also talked about their preferred characters.

Following their loss against the Super Bowl favorite Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions‘ players have been working hard to get their form back for their next encounter. However, some of them are also focusing on what’s going on in the gaming space, especially when it comes to the Pokemon series.

As reported by Game Rant, the Detroit Lions’ team posted a TikTok video online featuring several NFL players. In the clip, they eventually talked about who their favorite Pokemon are from the iconic saga. The clip begins with Julian Okwara, who goes with Pikachu. No doubt, the yellow mouse-like creature with electrical powers is one of the most memorable Pokemon ever.
Moving further, Jared Goff then mentions that his favorite Pokemon are Charizard and Bulbasaur. Not only that, even Squirtle gets a shout-out from defensive star Aidan Hutchinson.
Anthony Pittman can be seen as well in the TikTok video, who chooses Gen-4 Pokemon Piplup. As the NFL stars from Detroit Lions are currently preparing for their next battle with Jacksonville Jaguars, next week, Nintendo Switch exclusives Scarlet and Violet are also continuing to smash records since their awaited debuts in November 2022.
In case anyone missed it, the latest gaming offerings in the franchise have already sold 10 million copies in just three days. Yes, there are some issues in the newest titles, but fans have embraced them with open arms.
