‘Nearly’ headless ghost in Hogwarts Legacy
The spirit in question possesses a strong connection to Hogwarts in the upcoming Hogwarts Legacy game as well. The ghosts generally float around as they interact with the students. However, one ghost that is featured in both the books as well as in the game is “Nearly headless Nick.”
As per the official gameplay footage, Sir Nicholas De Mimsy-Porpington will be in Hogwarts as a ghost in the upcoming Hogwarts Legacy. While this isn’t the only commonality between the books and the upcoming game, it’s by far one of the more interesting ones.

The friendly ghost in Hogwarts was a courtier in King Henry VII’s royal court. However, unfortunately, due to one failed spell, he was executed with a blunt ax in the most horrible way possible. Even forty-five blows of that blunt ax weren’t able to detach him from his head properly, leaving him “nearly” headless. And that’s exactly why he is majorly known by his nickname, ‘Nearly Headless Nick’.
Evidently, he can be seen interacting with different students in the hallway and remains a strong character in Hogwarts through the entire series of Harry Potter. Well, it will be pretty interesting to see what Nearly Headless Nick brings to the gameplay in terms of new discoveries.
