Going by what they expressed about their whole gameplay, it seems like the remake is worth it after all despite being costly. While making their point clear, they even compared it to an iconic Nintendo classic.

Developed by Naughty Dog, TLOU remake is a complete overhaul of the original from the ground up. The team, led by Neil Druckmann, has brought new gameplay features and changes in the overall experience of the post-apocalyptic world of this game.

Ahead of its release, the remake saw a wave of backlash from several people who thought that the upgraded version won’t be worth due to a high cost of $70. To them, it seemed like a cash grabbing opportunity for the PlayStation and nothing else.

However, a Reddit user, recently, shared their experience with The Last of Us Part I on the PS5 and it seems like there’s more to the remake than the pricing itself. The Redditor, who’s named u/worldsinho, posted an elaborated text of what they felt about the recently launched upgrade of the original PS classic.

The player mentioned that anyone who’s calling out Naughty Dog for putting up a game for $70 should try it out first. As per the user, the developer has done a remarkable job in making the remake flawless and amazing. It looks like this gamer resides in the European region as they stated that they bought the remake for £70.

Moreover, while praising The Last of Us Part I the user made quite a solid comparison with Nintendo classic Mario 64. To them, it felt just like the iconic, old title from Nintendo because many fans would have gone for an upgraded Mario 64 had it been available for £70. Same case applies to TLOU, as per the Redditor.
