Despite Quidditch Disappointment, Hogwarts Legacy Fans Can Do a Lot With a Broom on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Consoles

Ask any fantasy lover gamer about the game they want to play and you’ll hear just one name, Hogwarts Legacy. Adapted from the legendary movie series Harry Potter, the game showcases the utopian world. Magical spells, sleek wands, winter overcoats, and common rooms of houses are a few of the many things that the game encircles.

Engulfing missions, highly graphical dreamy terrains, and flying broomsticks are all going to be offered to gamers. However, one should hold the thought of the broomsticks. Because a signature entity of the movie series will not be featured in the game. But there exists something to fill the void.

Hogwarts Legacy will sadly not be enclosing Quidditch in their game. On the FAQs page of the game, it has been clearly mentioned that “Quidditch is not playable in Hogwarts Legacy”. While this comes as sad news for the awaiting fans, they have something to look forward to.

Continuing the above FAQs statement, the page says, “However, broom flight for traversal and broom race challenges are part of the game. Players can also fly brooms to explore new and familiar locations surrounding Hogwarts Castle.”

And the game map stretches beyond Hogwart’s castle to Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade Village, and maybe more. That’s the surprise of unpredictability that the magical world of the game will hold.

Therefore, this means that the players will still be able to float over and explore the magical world with their broomsticks. Although, they would be missing the chance of catching the coveted “Golden Snitch” in Quidditch. Moreover, one can train their broomstick flight skills by taking the in-game flying class and also by going through quests.

Developed by Avalanche Software, Hogwarts Legacy is an upcoming action role-playing game. Published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment under its Portkey Games label, the game will release on February 10, 2023. Moreover, the game will be released on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. Above all, PlayStation will be including an exclusive quest for their gamers.
