xQc has been one of the legendary streamers that celebrate a great fan strength backing them. The personality has the charm to keep the viewers engrossed in his streams as he surfs through meme clips and reacts to videos on YouTube.

Surely, 2022 was one of the greatest years for the video gaming and streaming community. Numerous Events, TwitchCon, video game launches, and much more facilitated the streamers to try out new stuff. Hence, exposing viewers to upcoming content.
xQc was popularly known to react and stream the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard defamation trial that inevitably brought in numerous viewers. He used to simultaneously react to the trial, expressing his views so as to make a corridor of discussion between himself and his chat. During this time, he managed to gather a large audience on his streams.

However, 2022 was not all roses and sunshine for xQc. The streamer received immense backlash from the community following his absence from the QTCinderella’s event, Sh*tcamp. Moreover, the controversy of gambling on Twitch again caused problems for xQc as the genre was banned on the platform.
More so, he also went through a breakup with Adept, which the community was sad to hear. Nevertheless, they supported the two in their decision. But the struggles and complications were not over for xQc in 2022.
While he was streaming in the midst of this, the personality, unfortunately, tested positive for Covid-19 leading him to take a break from streaming. Being absent from the streams for a while did affect his streaming hours, but the viewership remained unshaken. The streamer now streams frequently in good health, making his viewership enjoy their stay.
