2023 has become the year of PlayStation users. This shows in their sales as well- this year PlayStation 5 has reportedly sold over forty million copies of their consoles globally.

Similarly, like in 2023, PlayStation 5 stored some great games for fans in 2024. These games include crazy names like Death Stranding II to Prince of Persia. Let’s have a detailed look at it!

Assassin’s Creed infinity

Ubisoft’s upcoming project under the Assassin’s Creed franchise will be Assassin’s Creed Infinity. Since Ubisoft Forward Showcase last year, fans received a concrete answer for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed project. However, adding more spice to the news, Ubisoft declared that Infinity will not be a new game in the franchise, but it will be a platform for Assassin’s Creed fans to link future titles of Assassin’s Creed.

Ubisoft’s Marc-Alexis Cote further explained that Assassin’s Creed Infinity will offer different games of varied lengths and genres to the fans. He added that from paid games to free content and premium boxed games- all will be offered to the players through the infinity hub and that also both in single and multiplayer modes. This platform will likely launch in the coming 2024 as a PlayStation 5 exclusive.

Death Stranding II

Death Stranding II is the sequel of PlayStation 4 ‘s superhit open-world action-themed game Death Stranding. In last year’s Game Awards, Kojima Productions announced officially about a sequel of the fans’ favorite Death Stranding will soon hit the market. Similar to its complex prequel, Death Stranding II’s topic also brought many mysteries among the fans.

There wasn’t much gameplay shown in the trailer at Game Awards, but it just gave a glimpse of the story since Sam Porter Bridges’ severed connection with the Bridges Corporation. Death Stranding II is already destined for 2024. This game is already one of the most-anticipated developments of the PlayStation 5.

Elder Scrolls 6

After Starfield, Elder Scrolls 6 is the most-anticipated upcoming project of Bethesda Softworks, which will likely release in the coming year. This open-world role-playing game is the talk of the town since developers spoke about it at the Xbox Games Showcase 2023. Although fans didn’t get a proper trailer that hinted at the gameplay details, the background score and the stunning in-game landscape seemed to blow their minds away totally.

Elder Scrolls 6 is one of the games which is yet to receive a concrete launch date. This game will probably be PlayStation 5’s other superhit game. However, Elder Scroll fans will probably get their hands on the game in 2024.

Indiana Jones

This looks like good news for Indiana Jones fans as a game featuring this iconic character will soon be available for gamers in the market. Although there aren’t many details to speak about, it is confirmed that this project will be developed by Starfield’s creators Bethesda Studios. Bethesda officially announced its Indiana Jones project back in 2021. Along with Bethesda, MachineGames will also join the efforts in making the Indiana Jones game. Although the developers confirmed that the project was completely at its debut stage, fans are assured to probably see its finalized version in 2024 as a PlayStation 5 game.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is another 2D game from the franchise, which didn’t receive much appreciation from fans because of its shift back to 2D aesthetics. However, later on, players found this game to be extremely exciting with its brand-new solid gameplay that offered a much fun outlook of the beloved prince.

Now Ubisoft has decided to bring this game to PlayStation 5’s platform in 2024.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth

The latest RPG in the Final Fantasy series brought a lot of excitement for fans by offering a detailed gameplay trailer. This new addition Final Fantasy VII Rebirth showed a fully controllable Red XIII as the team member of Yuffie. From mind-blowing story to amazing gameplay, Final Fantasy VII rebirth will be one of a kind RPG for fans, which awaits its release in 2024 for PlayStation 5.

Dragon’s Dogma 2

Gradon’s Dogma II will be Capcom Entertainment’s one of the popular games. This famous RPG is the successor to one of the cult classic games Dragon’s Dogma. Offering rich gameplay to the fans, this game will deliver a vast landscape of fantasy worlds for players to explore. Additionally, creative inputs and strategic skills will be the USP of this game. Developers Capcom Entertainment already spoke about using the RE engine for this game’s development. Dragon’s Dogma II will hit the screen in the coming 2024. It will be made officially available for PlayStation 5.

Dustborn

Red Thread Games’ action-adventure-themed upcoming project Dustborn. This game will feature love as a pivotal in-game element. Apart from that civil war, robots, road trips and all other different things will be presented for the fans. This third-person perspective-based single-player game will be available for PlayStation 5 in 2024.

Judas

Ken Levine’s Judas is an FPS game based on a sci-fi theme. The game protagonist is named Judas who is found in a wrecked spaceship.

Players can join others and decide on the fate of the spaceship or completely play the game with their own strategies. This FPS game will be available for PlayStation 5 in 2024.

Marathon

Marathon is an upcoming FPS game by legendary developer Bungie. This player-versus-player extraction game will offer players to survive in the environment and thrive against the opponent. Marathon will be launched next year. Developers didn’t confirm but leaks suggested that this game might be released as PlayStation 5 exclusive.
