Marvel’s Avengers has seen better days, as not a lot of people seem to be super interested in the game anymore. The developers have consistently come out with those announcements or reveals that have only caused frustration across the gaming community.

And the latest news is not different by any means. Marvel’s Avengers’ recent update regarding a patch, set to come out later this month, has left the fans even more disappointed. And they had valid reasons for being disappointed.

Fans are already calling Marvel’s Avengers a “Dead Game”

The superhero title was one of the most awaited IPs during its development stages. Thanks to the ever-growing popularity of the MCU, it was seen as the most fitting gaming iteration to follow in the footsteps of the cinematic franchise based on the classic comic books by Marvel.

However, soon this illusion broke, at least for the fans. Because they realized Marvel’s Avengers wasn’t what they expected it to be. It happened when the title was eventually released in 2020 for all the supported platforms.

Not only has it received heavy backlash since, but the engagement from the side of the players has also decreased. Still, there are few who are, somehow, attached to Marvel’s Avengers, in the hope that its developers will make it what it was ought to be, in the future.

However, it doesn’t seem to be the case for now.

Marvel’s Avengers recently posted a tweet sharing the information about patch 2.3. It was for fixing issues and adding several changes for characters like Black Widow, Thor, Captain America, and others.

But the fans, due to their frustration, after receiving no roadmap announcement or fresh content, were critical.

“Dead Game lol”, wrote one angry user.
