Valorant is not Compactable with Windows 7
Valorant had problems in the past with Windows versions. There were some issues with Windows 11 in the past when it got first released. Client errors and FPS drops haunted the gamers for a while. Although Riot’s team was quick to respond to all of the queries from players, there were still some reports of errors.
Now, the developer has completely removed Valorant from Windows 7. So, players who are currently playing the game on this version, might not be able to continue playing it at all after updating to Episode 6.

The current solution for this issue is to either update to Windows 8 or above. Or they can wait for Riot to issue an official statement for the players who are still using Windows 7. The latter is very unlikely to happen though.
Fans are dejected at the latest update
This news has some people disappointed. Especially the players who are still using Windows 7 in their PCs. They were sure to respond to these changes with disheartened messages.

Some people were also seen happy. They were glad that Windows 7 is no longer supported for Valorant. These people went on to say that Windows 7 had most of the hackers, and now when it is gone, the level of infringement will surely reduce.
cheating is much easier on win 7 (and/or bypassing anti-cheat kernel drivers), that's why they r gonna stop supporting it, probably
— razer (@re4lRazer) January 11, 2023
The reason is Riot noticed that most cheaters are using windows 7 and not getting banned, so they decided to stop valorant from running on windows 7
