For players looking to access the Phantom Liberty DLC with an existing character, they will need to progress through the main questline to reach Pacifica. The steps are as follows:
- Play Through Main Quests: Players must progress through the main quests in Cyberpunk 2077, which may take around 10 hours to reach Pacifica.
- Reach Pacifica: Specifically, players need to reach the part of the game where they rescue Evelyn and leave her in Judy’s care.
- Wait for Mr. Hands: After leaving Evelyn in Judy’s care, players should wait for Mr. Hands to call with a job related to the Voodoo Boys. This may take in-game hours.
- Follow the Quest: Accept Mr. Hands’ job and proceed with the quest titled “I Walk the Line.”
- Meet Songbird: After completing “I Walk the Line,” the player’s character will receive a call from Songbird, directing them to meet her at the entrance to Dogtown, which will be marked on the map.
- Begin Phantom Liberty: Once the player’s character meets Songbird, the opening mission of the Phantom Liberty DLC will play out similarly to starting a new character, allowing them to explore the new story in Dogtown.
