PUBG had a very bad reputation for stream sniping. In its golden days, every streamer, influencer, and content creator could be seen making content using PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The popularity of the game attracted big audiences, including the notorious stream snipers. And no streamer is more aware of it than the FPS legend Shroud himself.

Michael Grzesiek aka Shroud is one of the biggest names in online content creation and the pro online FPS gaming scene. Currently, Michael has over 10 million followers on Twitch and is one of the most successful streamers on Twitch. There was a time when the name Shroud was almost coetaneous with Wadu Hek.

While in his PUBG phase, Shroud used to get hordes of stream snipers on his games. While most of them were nothing but annoying, there was a certain eccentric individual whom Shroud may never be able to forget. This player used to intrude on almost all of Michael’s streams, gaining quite a reputation in the community.

Unlike other snipers, Wadu was a character of his own kind. While he did some shenanigans with the streamer that used to get on his nerves, he had some qualities that always gave him the pass. Among them, the first has to be his sense of humor. Wadu always used a mic to ‘talk’ with Shroud in the games.

However, Wadu never truly talked except by saying his own name in different tones, much like a pokemon. Wadu had a signature look. He only wore a long dark black long coat, white shorts, and small round glasses. He never carried weapons in front of Shroud. All he did was to survive as long as he could, encounter Shroud on the map, and get killed by the streamer while screaming ‘Wadu Hek’ in a sad tone.

Wadu had such a strong influence on the community that they dedicated an entire song to him. In many instances, Wadu proved that he is one of the biggest trolls in the history of the internet. In a match, Wadu survived till the end, where only he and Shroud were left alive. Just so he can be killed by him and no one else.

Where is Wadu now?

While the streamer Shroud is still going strong with his career, Wadu is nowhere to be found. According to the community, Wadu was last seen active around 2020. Even his Twitch channel with over 300,000 followers is dormant. His last stream was almost four years ago.
