Counter-Strike is one of the most-played titles ever. The strategy-based team shooter got fans grinning yet again as the community discovered that Rocket League is playable on CS 1.6. While the original Counter-Strike released in 2000, the 1.6 version made things sassy. Better mechanics and tactical thinking made Counter-Strike 1.6 arguably the first massively popular multiplayer title of modern times.

This 2003 release has once again made it clear that the game still has a lot to offer. Players can’t wait to try out this new mod in Counter Strike 1.6 which allows you to play the popular vehicle-based soccer game in the setting of your favorite FPS.

Counter-Strike 1.6 still wes fans, two decades after its release

Counter-Strike has received a mythical status among fans over two decades. The squad-based tactical shooter has created some of the best memories for fans. While the game itself is extensively popular to this day, its mod-based servers are a little less so. These modded servers allow for changing the core terrorist vs. anti-terrorist mode of the game to virtually many things. One such modder stumbled upon a unique option that allows one to play Rocket League directly on Counter-Strike 1.6.
