FaZe Clan’s CS:GO team had a rocky 2020 with major roster shuffles and a key player’s exit. The team’s performance has been subpar, and it forced the organization to explore other options. In early 2020, FaZe clan saw their marquee player Olofmeister stepping down from active duty, citing exhaustion that directly translated in his performance.

This led to the signing of the Danish powerhouse in Markus Kjærbye as a replacement for the legendary Olofmiester. The organization then parted ways with their star player ‘NiKo’ at the tail end of 2020, forcing Olof to re-join the roster. Now the rumors making rounds on the internet suggest yet another major signing from a top tier NA team.

FaZe clan is looking to sign CS:GO veteran from Team Liquid

With the looming retirement of Olofmeister in 2021, this will be one of the biggest signings of the organisation. FaZe Clan is also reportedly looking to rope in Russel David Kevin Van Dulken, better known as ‘Twistzz’ from Team Liquid, to complete their roster.

Twistzz has been a long-time member of the Team Liquid and has led them to winning many tournament wins. In the previous month, the professional player announced that he is stepping down from the active roster to explore free agency.

The timing for these rumors, along with Twistzz looking to make the switch, could bear good news for the fans. This rumor clearly suggests that FaZe clan has not given up on the idea of building a super steam with 5 key players.

This would be yet another attempt on their part to make the formula work, with rumors of a former in-game leader for FaZe Clan leader are making rounds.
