Every beautiful story has an end. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive might be the most beautiful story gamers have ever come across. And after every conclusion of a beautiful story, it ought to be the beginning of a more beautiful story. This time, its Counter-Strike 2 aka CS2.
But sometimes, people can’t accept these ends. And they can’t find a successor more beautiful than the former. A similar thing happened with a former CS: GO pro and a legend of the game when he didn’t find the connection with CS2, which he used to with CS: GO.

Kenny Schrub, aka KennyS, is one of the best CS: GO players. This legendary player recently put an end to his iconic professional career, spanning over 11 years. With over 15 individual awards in popular CS: GO tournaments like the HLTV Major and a Major Championship at Cluj-Napoca in 2015, Kenny called it a day at the Blast.tv Paris Major 2023 following GamerLegion’s victory over Heroic in the semi-finals.
Valve launched CS2 Beta on March 22. Since then, there have been a lot of speculations and comments about how CS2 will shape up differently than the iconic CS: GO. Kenny has also stated some of the significant differences he faced in the upcoming installment. He noted the upcoming one “doesn’t feel and connect” like the former one.
Bro CS2 doesn’t feel and connect like CSGO
– AWP flicks slightly random
– mouse2 scope can’t press it it’s weird
– pistols aren’t satisfying and seem weird as well
– STILL NO LEFF HANDED MODEL FFSofc it’s a beta so you gotta stay open minded

This veteran is one of the best AWPers the game has ever seen. But surprisingly, Kenny felt the AWP flicks were slightly random in CS2 rather than CS: GO.
In CS2, there is another problem as well, according to Schrub. You can’t hold the mouse button to scope. You have to press that button twice to open the scope.
Smacking headshots are one of the most satisfying things in Counter-Strike games, both for the gamer and the viewer as well. But Kenny found the pistols in CS2 weird and unsatisfying, too.

Last but not least, CS2 has missed one big aspect, which will be a big concern not only to Kenneth but also to all the CS players around the world. As of now, there are no options for using the left-handed view model in Counter-Strike 2.
Even after all these complaints, Kenny has advised all of us to stay open-minded, as the game is in beta mode. We are all hoping that Valve will bring about the necessary changes and updates to carry forward the legacy on the shoulders of the upcoming installment.
